DCET is Diploma Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The entrance exam is a requirement for enrolment in the first-year undergraduate architecture programmes and the second-year undergraduate engineering programmes offered through the lateral entry programme. In Karnataka, day and evening engineering institutes provide these programmes.

How to fill DCET Application form

The candidates must have a complete detail of DCET 2025 application process hence they don’t make any mistakes while filing out the application form. The step by step instruction for the candidates to fill the DCET 2025 application form is as below:

1. Visit the official website kea.kar.nic.in
2. On the home page , under the admission tab, click DCET 2025.
3. Click on the new registration if you are a new register and enter the details required.
4. On successful registration, the candidates will receive the application number and password on registered mail id or contact number.
5. Fill the complete details and read carefully and proceed.
6. The candidates have to upload a recent passport size photograph, scanned signature, parent’s signature and left hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.
7. Cross check all the details carefully as once submitted , you cannot edit the application form.
8. Make the declaration and pay the application fee.
9. The candidates are advised to download and store the application form for future references.

• Study Certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO / DDPI (Only for Karnataka Candidates).
• TWO recent passport size Colour Photographs.
• SSLC / 10th standard Marks Card.
• Diploma scorecard of all the semesters.

• Rural Study Certificate (students claiming rural category reservation).
