BMRCL Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be informed of the eligibility requirements before filing out the application form. The information about the eligibility requirements that has been provided is as follows:

Station Controller / Train Operator	10 + 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Science Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and equivalent branches
Junior Engineer (JE)	3 years diploma in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical / S & T Engineering equivalent branches
Section Engineer (SE)	B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Science, Mechanical, Telecommunication, Industrial, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering and equivalent branches
Maintainer	ITI Certificate in relevant trade - (Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Mechanic Computer Hardware, Industrial Electronics, Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance, Refrigeration & Air
	Conditioning, Electronics Mechanic and equivalent ITI trades

Kannada Language Requirement: Proficiency in Kannada (reading, writing & speaking) is mandatory for all posts. A separate Kannada Language Proficiency Test is conducted as part of the selection process.

BMRCL follows the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay pattern. Figures below are estimates based on previous BMRCL recruitment cycles and subject to change.
